Feeling Safe to Be Seen

There’s something tender that happens when we begin to step into our next chapter whether it’s being more visible in our work, opening to love, or simply allowing ourselves to be seen as we truly are.

For many of us, that visibility brings up fear. The mind says, “What if I’m judged? What if I’m not enough? What if I get hurt again?”
And before we even realize it, the body contracts, the chest tightens, the throat closes, and we quietly retreat.

But what if this isn’t a block? What if it’s simply our body trying to protect you from old pain?

We don’t need to push or perform to be worthy of being seen. We don’t have to force your next step or figure it all out. Visibility can happen in our own way, in our own rhythm, and in ways that feel safe for our system.

We can be both private and powerful.
Soft and strong.
Visible and grounded.

When we feel safe in our bodies, visibility stops being scary, it becomes natural. We start to attract what’s aligned without chasing, and life begins to meet us halfway.

Below is a short EFT Tapping sequence to help you release fear, soften the body, and remind your energy that it’s safe to be seen, loved, and supported.

Side of the Hand (Karate Chop Point):
Even though part of me is scared to be seen, I choose to love and accept myself anyway.
Even though I feel uncomfortable sharing my energy with people I don’t know, I honour that this is just my body’s way of protecting me.
Even though I want freedom, love, and flow — and I’m not sure how to get there — I choose to trust my own rhythm.

Eyebrow: I’m afraid of being judged or misunderstood.
Side of Eye: I feel sensitive to other people’s energy.

Under Nose: My body wants to protect me from being hurt again.
Chin: I honour this fear — it’s been keeping me safe for a long time.
Collarbone: I’m open to finding new ways of being seen that feel nourishing.

Under Arm: I’m ready to be free — to live, love, and create on my own terms.
Top of Head: I am safe, seen, and supported in every step.

Take a deep breath.
Inhale through your nose, exhale through your mouth. Feel your shoulders soften and your heart expand just a little. Place your hand on your heart and ask yourself:

“What would feel freeing and authentic for me to express next?”

You might be surprised by how clear your inner voice becomes once the fear softens.

You are safe to be seen.
You are safe to be loved.
You are safe to take up space in your own way, in your own time.
